The recent cold snap during Winter Storm Bern drove up heating demand and temporarily reduced natural gas production, causing gas prices to briefly exceed $30, and average significantly higher than last month. Our team carefully manages supply to minimize cost increases; your bill reflects what we paid suppliers during that unusually volatile period with no UniGas markup or profit on the cost of gas.

We’re here to support you, help you understand what’s behind increased bills, and want you to know how much we value you as our customer. We know that paying your utility bills can be difficult. Lower income customers may qualify for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program.
